Kelowna Sept 14 2020

Well we drove from Castlegar to Kelowna yesterday.

I'd like to say it was a good drive.  And while nothing went wrong, with all the smoke it wasn't pleasant.  I'm eating licorice. And some random pictures.

You smelled it all the time.  And the recirculating air button in the truck wouldn't stay on.  My guess is because of all the particles etc.  It kept switching off. So we left it off.

And it just makes your eyes tired staring into it all the time. Everything being gray.

We drove from Rock Creek to Kelowna on Hwy 33. It was a good road and lots of new paving. But quite windy. So hardly did the 100kph or 90 that was posted.  There was a lot of burned areas. Trying to remember.  That must have been a few years ago.

We are in Kelowna for just a week.  Staying  at our favourite place. Canyon Farms RV Park.  A lovely little hobby farm with 10ish spots.  You can buy fresh eggs.  Feed the chickens. Sometimes get a whole chicken if she has any. And normally,  when we are here in July, get salad greens too!

The pictures are all the Dahlias she has planted since last year. And a huge sunflower. Not a good picture of the sunflower has  it is facing the ground its sooo big   Almost two feet across.   Crazy.

Beautiful!  I will get pictures of the chickens and post that too.

Golfing twice and going to try and see family and friends.  We will see.
