April 23, 2023 - Palm Springs area

Just a quick catch up.   A bit of golfing and having a drink and a bit to eat after golf.

Yesterday we golfed and then were going to eat at the course.  Then Wilbur and I had a bit of a panic attack.  He says "did you put the air conditioning on " no I didn't.  And he didn't know if he had either. He had cleaned the vent and didn't know if he turned it on.  WELL, we have 3 dogs in the trailer and temperature was going to get to 99. It was 1:30. YIKES. So we decided to head back to around our trailer to have a beer etc.  I jumped in Alicja's car and Wilbur went to trailer.  Yes he had turned it on.  So we decided to just leave it on from now and just turn it up and down. That way if we leave it at 30 it would still turn on and not roast the dogs!  

Thursday we went to the street fair and then the casino afterwards.  I won the most I had ever one, but I did put in $200. So net, $300.

I am making bread today and Wilbur has headed to the driving range. 

My friend Alicja shot an 88!!!! yesterday.  Incredible round!  Congrats to her!

Joannie is still loving the dog park as she loves chasing the ball!  Did I mention Wilbur sent one of the "chuck it" balls over the wall?  Oh well. 

Oh ya... Wilbur cracked the windshield.  He had got the truck washed the day before, and then we had a windstorm and it was all dusty.  So he took the hose to rinse it off.  Hot windshield and cool water... CRACK   Guess we are replacing that when we get home!
