Aug 27-2021 The Canyon RV Park

Not to be confused with our last place, Canyon Farms RV Park.   

Today the weather is up and down.  Decided to go for a walk and of course it starts raining.  So we waited and then put rain jackets on.  Just a sprinkle here and there.

I will try and get a night  picture as I think the sign lights up!  When we were here last year, they were still working on the roundabout.  So cool to see the sheep horn sculpture. 

Walking up the trail behind us there are signs "aggressive doe and two fawns ".  We saw two staring at us from the trees. 

On the way back they were still in the trees but closer.  So we held dogs close and walked quickly past.  Then of course there is Momma on the trail!  So we backtracked to edge of fence and a beaten trail to a site.  Luckily empty site.  I had to pick up Buddy as there were rocks at bottom that he wouldn't be able to get over. And luckily I didn't trip!  I am a klutz!  And NO pictures as I'm not stopping to take pictures of aggressive deer.

I'm not one of "those" people who get mauled trying to take a selfie with a "fill in the blank" bear, moose, tiger, penguin?   Do penguins attack?

We only went to the visitor centre and the grocery store!

Then sat outside to play crib. Wilbur won both games!   

So now it's leftover night.  Remember all that pizza and wings and mozza sticks!

It's sprinkling on me again!  Plus it's an hour ahead here! So our internal clocks screwed up   Even Wilbur slept until after 8:00!  As that would be 7:00.  

Camp chef stove ready and waiting for me to reheat dinner!
