Well if you read my FB you will know about my bee accident.
We were biking yesterday on the Markin-MacPhail Westside Legacy Trail. And before I start, don't get sucked into thinking it's easy! The first part said difficult and it IS! But so is the 2nd part and 3rd part. We turned around at the 10km mark because a guy passing Wilbur said Wilbur's tire was wobbly. And it is. But remember the bike is 35 yrs old. But ya we'll get it looked at.
Coming back on a good downhill portion (trying to pick up speed for the uphill looming ahead) I got a wasp? Bee? Pterodactyl? Right in the chin. WHAM! OW. Slam on the brakes pull over. Whatever hit me I either brushed off or it blew off. But holy radiating pain! No stinger but even my bottom teeth hurt.
I know it doesnt look like much but it frickin hurt!
After 5 mins. we continued on. Boy it sure hurt.
So we went to a brewery to drown my pain and ice my chin.
Today we went golfing at Fairmont's Mountainside course. It is in lovely shape. Except for the bunkers that have grass growing in them. A beautiful day. We were supposed to golf Tuesday and use our Red Book (coupon book for golf) but its a 70% chance of rain. So we paid a lot to golf today.
