Well we decided to go for a bike ride. Got all ready to go and it started to pour. So I had a nap instead. Zzzz Dog legs! People legs! And a Buddy head. We were comfortable.
Then we tried again at about 2:00pm. We drive down to KLO road and the Mission Trail. We rode along the trail. Came out at Leckie Rd and all the way along to the Rails with Trails bike route. We got rained on! Pulled over and put our rain jackets on. Then biked to a brewery! Cuz what you going to do? Drink 🍺 beer!
Jacknife Brewery. Rock music. Super rustic. Didn't try the pizza but it looked huge and smelled great!
It rained while we were in there. But we wiped off the bike seats and off to the next Brewery. RED BIRD. I tried their beer from the liquor store when we were up here a few weeks ago. "Lady of the Lake Lager". Really liked it and wanted to visit the brewery. A bit less rustic than the last brewery. Enjoyed a flight and bought 2 four packs of my new favourite beer.
Now this next picture makes me laugh. Wilbur's hair takes on the ridges from his bike helmet!
Then one more brewery. Around the corner to Rustic Reel Brewing. Very upscale and yuppish. When we got there a very young hip crowd was there. And interestingly, I thought all their beer was blah. I had two sours and two ales in a flight I like sours. But they need to have flavour and be SOUR. The one, the cherry hibiscus? Was OK. The rest..eh.
Now just to prove we did bike, a picture. Also we saw a deer wade through the creek
Home to have those yummy lamb burgers I talked about in my earlier post from Bear Creek Park. But the grocery store didn't have pita bread (shopping late on a Sunday!) so we had them on buns.
And as you can see a certain little white doggy thought they might be yummy too!

Good thing you didn't get an RUI!
