When we got up here the first day the trailer brakes were really smelling. We were worried. So we made an appt at Bluestar Services which is Bluestar Coachlines too.
I was VERY impressed. From the first call to Josh, for them getting us in. Calling back 3 times to make sure he could get parts. And calling back within 5 mins, not hours later. When we went in we also dealt with Jeff, who was also very friendly.
In the end they checked everything. Tires on, no binding, tires off, brake pads good, bearings good, etc. I felt they did a very thorough job.
Also they knew we had to have the trailer back the same day. And had it done on time, as promised. My niece Adrian stepped up and looked after all 3 of our dogs so we could still golf!

Golf, food (do you SEE the size of our chicken burger) and beautiful flowers at golf courses. Most golf courses do a lovely job with their flower beds.
ON THE WAY to get the trailer the check engine light came on, on the truck. Yup 😡.
So we phoned Ford and they could get us in the next day. Again. We were to golf with our friends, who were only up for the 2 days. Adrian stepped in again. Came and got us, drove us to golf, and looked after 2 of the 3 dogs overnight. AND she drove me around to get medication for Joannie and then went and picked it up, while we golfed. I owe her big time!
So then the next day Ford said "we don't have time to work on your truck" after keeping it a day and a half! And charged us $50.00 for the pleasure of plugging in the computer to get the error code! NOT impressed.
So we decided to cancel the rest of our holiday. Yup. Lost a few deposits. Don't get to visit Kim and Jennifer in Calgary. Wilburs friend from elementary school and his best man. Another time.
Yes we still have a check engine light and will just cross our fingers on the way home on Monday.
