We stayed an extra night in Eugene, because the passes from Oregon to California were supposed to get hammered with snow.

Can't play it too safe when towing a trailer.
Then we stayed at Rolling Hills Casino. When I was checking in, this lady says "I know you. Did you work at TELUS. Turns out she is good friends with my friend Brenda. And when I worked in MIS 40 yrs ago. Her husband worked in my dept but a different building. Small world!
Lots of farming, mid california. I know they do olives. And I guess wheat or barley?
