Yes I know. Here are a few weeks of blog…. I told a friend (Karen) that for me, as we are at the same place as last year, it doesn’t seem exciting to blog. And she said “not for your fans”… Here we go!
Into Palm Springs Area on April 3. We are staying for a month. Same spot we stayed in last year at Outdoor RV Resort, in Cathedral Canyon. Think Vancouver to Burnaby distance. You drive for a few blocks and your are in a different city!
And of course ONE MORE FLAT TIRE. We road our bikes in Bakersfield, and Wilbur got a flat. Then when we got here and unpacked bikes, a few days later he noticed the other tire was flat…. Oh joy.
AND, the first hour here, he steps in a hole on our site and twists his ankle. It’s recovered now, but he can still feel it a bit. Luckily all golf down here is with a cart. Well except our little pitch and putt, executive course, on the property. Which means we only started golfing it, this last week.
The first night we went for Mexican food. I had a sopa and a Chile relleno. They were both very good. I had never tried either before. Oh and good margaritas! I am the weird “white person” who likes refried beans…. With cheese of course.
Wilbur and Joannie at the dog park!
Why bike pictures? For my brother-in-law who has 3 bikes now. Two Harlies and an Indian. Which this bike is. But his is a smaller one for the Mexican roads where he and my sister stay all winter.
Alicja’s birthday dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. Alicja, Bill, Wilbur and ME! I had a super yummy shepherds pie. Very flavourful. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Boy that place is hopping on a Friday night.
There are so many restaurants down here, that I said to Wilbur, you could eat out every night and still not get to them all.
Of course dessert!
The earrings I bought her. She always gets me a whole raft of presents. That she puts a lot of thought into, so I really wanted to treat her.

Apparently our readers don't mind the same thing every year! I love chili relleno and refried beans. Eric's new smaller bike is Triumph tiger 900 GT pro...adventure bike
